Technology for Citizen Participation
The core idea behind Urbania was simple: give citizens a way to report the problems they encountered in their city. I worked on the web and mobile experiences that supported this concept, using jQuery, PHP and Android to build the digital tools. The project was an early example in my career of using software not only to automate business processes, but to connect people with real-world problems in their community.
